It's clear that drinking is as important as eating here, as both the food and drinks menus are near enough equal. As soon as you are seated you'll be presented with a complimentary fruity aperitif, and as you leave a small mango smoothie is given as a palette cleanser. It's these fruity beverages that compliment the food so well, drawing out even the most subtle spices and nutty undertones in your chosen dish. Amar offer all of the classic Indian currys such as Bhoonas, Baltis and Tikka Masalas, and execute them all so well that even those with a taste for the more fiery dishes will take great pleasure in the more pedestrian choice of a Korma.
